Frequently Asked Questions
God has continued to grow our church, and, as you likely know, we are running out of space.
Current facts about UBC attendance:
We averaged over 900 people in the month of January 2020. For several months now, all three Sunday morning services have been over 75% seating capacity. In other words, we are running out of space on Sunday mornings.
Last fall, we announced we would launch a fourth Sunday morning service starting in January 2020 utilizing UBC East for two of those services. However, Greene County’s permit process has delayed construction, thus UBC East is not available for use.
The current plan is to run this 4th service from March 1 through May 3.
Since we have so many college students who will be going home for the summer, we anticipate going back to three Sunday morning services through the summer (and likely back to four services in the fall).
The truth is though, we don’t know exactly how God will grow our church in the future. The UBC family has responded very graciously during the transitions thus far and the staff is grateful. Please continue to extend grace as we maneuver continued transitions.
Yes! STUMIN (Student Ministry) and AWANA will still meet from 4:30-6:00pm on Sunday afternoons.
The only change is that STUMIN will meet at the Beavercreek Preschool Center (connected to the Board of Education) on Kemp Road, across the street from UBC Main.
For children who are infant-preschool, we will have children’s ministry available.
For kids who are Kindergarten-5th grade, our awesome AWANA leaders will help them jump into the AWANA programming.
STUDENT MINISTRY (STUMIN)
You can drop off your student(s) off at the Preschool Center as early as 4:10pm, but STUMIN will start at 4:30pm.
