New to University Baptist Church?
You might be wondering, what’s it really like at University Baptist Church? Simply stated, at UBC, we’re all about Jesus. You won’t be met with guilt or condemnation. We don’t care how you are dressed or which candidate you voted for. Our church is made up of imperfect people changed by the person of Jesus Christ.
Want to know the best part? No matter what you have been through or what questions you might have about God and faith, our church is a place where you will find the love, grace, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone.

What can I expect at University Baptist Church?
Our services consist of a mixture of videos, songs, and other varying elements, as well as a sermon delivered by one of our pastors. Services are at 8:30am, 9:45am, and 11:00am on Sunday mornings.
If you don’t have one, don’t worry! Just ask one of our hosts or ushers (wearing red lanyards), and they will get you one you may keep!
Our pastors teach from what is known as the English Standard Version (ESV). If you have another version, you are welcome to use it.
If you don’t have a Bible but would prefer to follow along on your phone or tablet, you can download the YouVersion Bible App.
We believe in creating a fun, secure environment for each child at University Baptist Church. This begins with our child check-in desk. One of our volunteers will help check your children in and give you a badge you will use to securely check your child out of our secure children’s environment at the conclusion of the service.
All of our volunteers and teachers go through extensive training and complete background checks before serving at University Baptist Church. You may meet your child’s teacher upon dropping them off in their age appropriate room.
If you get lost or have any questions, ask one of our many volunteers wearing a red lanyard. These volunteers are there for you!
If you have a child with special needs, contact our church office at (937)426-3966, so we can make any necessary accommodations for your child.
